Don’t Prep Your Amazon Products Until You Read This

Sending products into an Amazon warehouse that are incorrectly labelled or processed can be significantly costly for your business.

Some of the costs you’ll incur are:
Labelling - this costs your business for each label you print, and not to mention the time it takes to complete the labelling process.

Preperaring the items for shipment - the shipment process will need to be completed, including adding items to a box, measuring and weighing the box, as well as applying the relevant labels.

Shipments - each shipment sent costs, even when using an Amazon partnered carrier, such as UPS. A standard shipment will cost between £2.80-£4.00.

Storage - every day that your items are in Amazon warehouses, even if they are ‘stranded inventory’, they will be accruing storage costs.

Recalling - Amazon will charge your business to recall the inventory to your address, this is as they have to process the items as they would a customer.

Relabelling - to cover for the previous mistake of labelling an item incorrectly, you will need to relabel the items so they can be sold within Amazon.
